- 2 oz dark chocolate, coarsely chopped
- 1 quart milk
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 6 tbsp sugar
- pinch of salt
- pinch of nutmeg
- pinch of cinnamon
- 1/4 cup kahlua
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- Whip the cream and then chill.
- Combine the chocolate, milk, cocoa, sugar, salt, nutmeg, and cinnamon in a large saucepan.
- Stir constantly until the mixture comes to a boil.
- Remove from the heat and stir in the kahlua and the vanilla.
- Pour into cups and then top with a dollop of the whipped cream.
- Serve.
