Lime Collins

  • 1 heaping tsp turbinado sugar
  • the juice of one lime
  • 1 tbsp simple syrup
  • 1 oz. gin
  • club soda
  • ice
  1. Pour the sugar in the bottom of one highball glass.  Add the lime juice and the simple syrup.
  2. Pour in the gin. Fill glass with ice.
  3. Top up with club soda.
  4. Stir gently.
  5. Serve.

Fruit Smoothie

  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup peach yogurt
  • orange juice
  • frozen strawberries
  • 4 ice cubes
  1. Combine the banana and peach yogurt in a blender.
  2. Add about a handful of the strawberries and the ice.
  3. Pour in orange juice so that it goes about half way up.
  4. Puree.
  5. yummmm.

Peachy Apple Soda

  • 1/2 cup apple juice
  • 1/2 cup peach nectar
  • 1/2 cup soda water
  • 1/4 cup rum
  • 2 scoops vanilla ice cream
  1. Combine the juice, nectar, and rum.  Stir well and pour between 2 glasses.
  2. Add 1/4 cup soda water to each and then top with a scoop of ice cream.
  3. Serve.

Blueberry Splash

  • 2 cups frozen blueberries
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup cranberry juice
  1. Combine all the ingredients in the blender.  Pulse until smoothe.  Serve.

Strawberry Drink

  • 10 oz. frozen strawberries, in syrup, partially thawed
  • 3 cups chilled grapefruit juice
  • 1/2 cup vodka

Combine the strawberries, and 1 cup of the juice in the blender.  Blend until smooth.

Pour into a pitcher and stir in the remaining juice and the vodka.

Serve.

Peachy Cooler

  • 1 cup chilled peach nectar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 6 0z. peach yogurt

Combine the nectar, milk, and yogurt in a blender with some ice.  Blend well.

Serve.

Pool Drink

  • 2 oz. midori
  • 2 oz. peach schnapps
  • 2 oz. orange juice
  • ice
  • 7-up

Shake up the liquors and the juice in a martini shaker.

Pour over ice in 2 glasses and then top up with 7-up. 

Canteloop

  • 2 oz. vodka
  • 2 oz. midori
  • 2 oz. peach schnapps
  • club soda

Pour 1 oz. of each of the liquors over ice into 2 glasses.  Top up with club soda.

Amarina

  • 2 tsp angostura bitters
  • 2 sugar cubes
  • 1 oz. limoncello
  • 7 oz. prosecco

Plate 1 tsp of the bitters in each of 2 champagne flutes.  Place a sugar cube in each flute.

Top up with 1/2 oz. of limoncello in each glass and then pour in the prosecco.

Blood Orange Cosmo

  • 4 oz. vodka (preferably orange flavoured)
  • 1/2 oz. cointreau
  • 1/2 oz. lime juice
  • 2 oz. fresh blood orange juice

Combine the ingredients with ice in a martini shaker.  Shake well and pour between 2 martini glasses.
