- 1 1/4 cups flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 cup cocoa
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup boiling water
- Preheat the oven to 350 F. Grease and flour a 9" cake pan.
- Stir together the flour, soda, and salt. Mix in the cocoa.
- Beat in the eggs, sugar, vanilla, and sour cream
- Add the boiling water.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
- Bake for about 45 minutes.
- Serve.
