- 1/2 lb butter, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 2 3/4 cups flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 2 cups chocolate chips
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
- 1/2 cup coconut, shredded
- Cream the butter with the sugars until smooth.
- Preheat the oven to 350 F. Lay parchment paper on baking trays.
- Add the eggs, beating well to combine.
- Stir in the vanilla.
- Combine the flour, salt, and baking soda and then stir it into the butter mixture.
- Fold in the chocolate chips, pecans, and coconut.
- Drop large spoonfuls of the dough onto the parchment paper and bake until golden, for about 15 minutes.
- Serve with milk.
