- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2/3 cup butter, softened
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 egg
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- 1 1/4 cups chocolate chips
- Preheat the oven to 375 F. Lay parchment paper on a large baking sheet.
- Cream the butter with the sugars. Stir in the vanilla and the egg.
- Mix in the flour, soda, and salt. Blend well.
- Fold in the nuts and chocolate chips. Drop by large spoonfuls on the parchment paper.
- Bake for about 12 minutes. Serve.
