- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3 tbsp cornstarch
- 1/3 cup cocoa
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 1/2 cups milk
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- Whip the cream and then chill.
- Combine the sugar, cornstarch, cocoa, and salt in a medium saucepan. Pour in the milk.
- Whisk continuously over medium high heat until the mixture thickens and becomes shiny.
- Stir in the vanilla.
- Separate into 4 bowls.
- Serve with a dollop of whipped cream.
