Puffed Wheat Square

  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 1/3 cup corn syrop
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 1/2 tbsp cocoa
  • 6 cups puffed wheat
  1. Grease an 9 by 9 inch square pan.
  2. Combine the butter, syrop, sugar, and cocoa in a large saucepan.
  3. Stir and bring to a boil over medium heat.
  4. Remove from the heat and stir in the puffed wheat.
  5. Press evenly into the prepared pan.
  6. Cool.  Serve.
