Shortbread Cookies
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 1/2 cup icing sugar
- 1 cup flour
- 3/4 cup butter, softened
- 1/4 cup maraschino cherries, diced
- Preheat the oven to 300 F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Combine the cornstarch, icing sugar, and flour.
- Blend in the butter until soft dough forms. Shape into balls.
- Press the balls on to the parchment paper and squish with a fork.
- Top with a tiny bit of the maraschino cherry for decoration.
- Bake for about 15 to 20 minutes until golden.
- Serve.
More without chocolate. Not a big fan.
