Sour Cream Chocolate Chip Cake

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup plain sour cream
  • 3/4 cup chocolate chips
  1. Preheat your oven to 375 F.  Grease a 9" square cake pan.
  2. Combine the flour, baking powder, soda, and salt. 
  3. Cream the butter with the sugar and then beat in the eggs, vanilla, and sour cream.
  4. Mix in the flour.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips.  Bake for 35 to 45 minutes.
  6. Serve.
