Almond Couscous

  • 2 cups water
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 chicken bouillon cube
  • 1/4 tsp saffron
  • 1 1/2 cups quick cooking coucous
  • 1/2 cup almonds
  1. Combine the water, butter, bouillon, and saffron in a medium saucepan.  Bring to a boil.  Add the coucous, and the almonds. 
  2. Stir and then cover with the heat off for 5 minutes.
  3. Check seasoning.  Serve.
