- 1 cup chicken stock
- 1/3 cup heavy cream
- 2/3 cup milk
- 1/4 tsp dry thyme
- 1/4 tsp kosher salt
- 1/4 tsp cayenne
- 1/3 cup quick grits
- Combine the chicken stock, milk, and cream in a saucepan and bring to a simmer.
- Stir in the thyme, salt, and cayenne.
- Stir in the grits, and cook stirring often for about 10 to 12 minutes.
