Grits

  • 1 cup chicken stock
  • 1/3 cup heavy cream
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1/4 tsp dry thyme
  • 1/4 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne
  • 1/3 cup quick grits
  1. Combine the chicken stock, milk, and cream in a saucepan and bring to a simmer.
  2. Stir in the thyme, salt, and cayenne.
  3. Stir in the grits, and cook stirring often for about 10 to 12 minutes.
