Soft and Sexy Grits

  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 2 tsp chicken bouillon
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup quick grits
  • 1 tsp tabasco
  • cracked pepper
  1. Melt the butter in a medium to large saucepan.  Add the garlic and saute until tender about 45 seconds.
  2. Combine the boiling water with the chicken bouillon.  Stir well and pour into the pan.  Stir in the milk, and the cream.  Stir in the grits.
  3. Add the tabasco and season with cracked pepper.
  4. Bring to a boil.  Cover, and lower the heat to very low.  Simmer 10 minutes.
  5. Stir well.  Serve.
