Steak with Cream Sauce

  • 2 steaks
  • cracked pepper
  • coarse salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 1 chicken oxo cube
  • 5 tbsp light cream
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  1. Rub the steaks lightly with coarse salt and cracked pepper.
  2. Combine the water with the oxo cube in a double boiler.
  3. Add the eggs, yolk, and cream.  Add some cracked pepper.
  4. Whisk for 8 minutes, then remove from the heat.
  5. Meanwhile grill your steak to your taste.
  6. Whisk in the butter and lemon juice to the sauce.  Check the seasoning.
  7. Serve the steak with the sauce.
