- 2 cups uncooked macaroni
- 1 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1/4 lb cheddar, grated
- 1 cup swiss cheese, grated
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- paprika
- Boil the macaroni in salted water for about 6 minutes. Drain. Rinse with cold water, and then drain again,
- Preheat the oven to 350 F.
- Melt the butter in a saucepan. Add the flour and stir.
- Whisk in the milk, and then stir until it thickens. Add the cheeses and stir until they melt.
- Season with salt, and pepper. Mix in the macaroni.
- Pour the macaroni into a 2 quart casserole dish. Sprinkle with paprika.
- Bake uncovered for about 25 minutes.
