Spaghetti Carbonara

  • salt
  • cracked pepper
  • olive oil
  • 1/4 lb bacon
  • 1/2 lb spaghetti, uncooked
  • 3 tbsp pasta water
  • 1/2 cup shaved parmesan
  • 2 eggs
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.  Add the spaghetti.
  2. Heat a drizzle of olive oil up in a skillet.  Fry the bacon until crisp.  Set aside, without draining the fat.
  3. Reserve 3 tbsp of the water cooking the pasta.  Drain the pasta.
  4. Add the bacon, parmesan, cooking water, and both eggs.  Toss well.  Season well with cracked pepper.
  5. Serve.
