- 1 egg , separated
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup flour
- salt and pepper
- cayenne
- dijon
- 6 link pork sausages
- Preheat the oven to 400 F.
- Beat the egg white until stiff.
- Combine the egg yolk, milk, flour, and then season with salt, pepper, and cayenne.
- Fry the sausages until cooked.
- Pour some of the rendered fat into a pie plate and brush up the sides.
- Fold the egg white into the yolk batter.
- Arrange the sausages in the pie plate and then pour the batter on top.
- Bake for about 30 minutes. Serve with some dijon.
