  • 1 heaping tsp turbinado sugar
  • the juice of one lime
  • 1 tbsp simple syrup
  • 1 oz. gin
  • club soda
  • ice
    1. Pour the sugar in the bottom of one highball glass.  Add the lime juice and the simple syrup.
    2. Pour in the gin. Fill glass with ice.
    3. Top up with club soda.
    4. Stir gently.
    5. Serve.

  • 3 cups chilled grapefruit juice
  • 1/2 cup vodka

    • Combine the strawberries, and 1 cup of the juice in the blender.  Blend until smooth.

    Pour into a pitcher and stir in the remaining juice and the vodka.

    Serve.

  • 7 tablespoons water
  • 5 tablespoons pomegranate juice
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 4 teaspoons honey
  • 1 1/2 cups vodka
  • 3/4 cup fresh grapefruit juice
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
  • 18 fresh mint leaves plus 6 sprigs for garnish
  • Ice cubes

    1. Bring first 4 ingredients to boil in small saucepan, stirring to dissolve sugar. Cool. Do ahead Can be made 1 day ahead. Cover and refrigerate.
    2. Combine pomegranate mixture, vodka, grapefruit juice, lime juice, and mint leaves in large pitcher. Fill pitcher with ice. Stir vigorously. Strain drink into Martini glasses. Garnish each glass with mint sprig and serve. Makes 6 cocktails.

  • 1 banana, peeled
  • 1 mango, pitted, and peeled
  • 3 oz tequila
  • 1 oz triple sec
  • crushed ice
    1. Combine the lime juice and the sugar, stirring until it dissolves.
    2. Puree the banana, and the mango in a blender.  Add the tequila and triple sec, and the lime juice.  Blend 30 more seconds.
    3. Pour into 4 glasses, over crushed ice.
