Buttermilk Pancakes
1 cup flour 1/2 tsp salt 1 tsp baking soda 1 egg, beaten 1 1/4 cups buttermilk 2 tbsp butter, melted Combine the flour, salt, and baking soda. Stir well. Stir in the egg, buttermilk, and butter. Stir until just moistened. Pan fry in butter. Serve with maple syrup.
Almost French Toast Pancakes
2 cups flour 2 tsp baking powder 1 tsp baking soda 1/4 tsp salt 2 cups milk 3 eggs 1/4 cup canola oil 2 tbsp vinegar butter Combine all the ingredients except the butter. Beat until combined but still lumpy. Melt some butter in a skillet and then pan fry the batter. Serve with maple syrup.
