1 cup kimchee, drained, minced
1/2 cup of the kimchee liquid
1 cup flour
2 eggs
1 scallion, minced
1/4 tsp salt
1 tbsp peanut oil
2 tbsp rice vinegar
2 tbsp soy sauce
1/2 tsp sesame oil
1/2 tsp chili flakes
Combine the kimchee, kimchee liquid, flour, eggs, scallion, and salt. Mix well.
Heat the peanut oil in a large skillet and pan fry 1/4 cup large scoops of the batter for 3 minutes per side.
Combine the vinegar, soy sauce, sesame oil, and chili flakes. Mix well.
Serve the pancakes with the sauce drizzled on top.

1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
1 egg, beaten
1 1/4 cups buttermilk
2 tbsp butter, melted
Combine the flour, salt, and baking soda. Stir well.
Stir in the egg, buttermilk, and butter.
Stir until just moistened.
Pan fry in butter.
Serve with maple syrup.

1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
2 cups milk
3 eggs
1/4 cup canola oil
2 tbsp vinegar
butter
Combine all the ingredients except the butter. Beat until combined but still lumpy.
Melt some butter in a skillet and then pan fry the batter. Serve with maple syrup.

a scant cup of flour
1 tbsp sugar
2 tsp baking powder
a pinch of salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
3/4 cup milk
2/3 cup plain yogurt
1 tbsp canola oil
1 egg
Combine all the ingredients and then let rest 15 minutes.
Pan fry in butter.
Serve with fruit syrup.
