  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1/4 onion, minced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 3/4 cup tomato sauce
  • grated cheddar cheese
  • 1 avocado, peeled, pitted diced
  • lettuce, chopped
  • sour cream
  • hard tacos
    1. Saute the beef in a skillet until well browned.  Drain the excess fat.
    2. Add the onion and garlic and saute until tender.
    3. Stir in the salt, cayenne, chili powder, and cumin.
    4. Stir in the tomato sauce and simmer 10 minutes.
    5. Serve in hard tacos with the cheese, avocado, lettuce, and sour cream.
