- 3/4 lb asparagus, trimmed
- 1/4 tsp ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp ground coriander
- 1 tsp curry powder
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1/4 cup butter, softened
- 1 scallion, minced
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp cracked pepper
- Combine all the ingredients except for the asparagus, form into a ball and wrap in waxed paper.
- Chill for 30 minutes.
- Steam the asparagus for 3 to 4 minutes
- Serve the asparagus with slices of the chilled butter.
