Fondant Potatoes

  • 1 lb potatoes, peeled, sliced 2 cm thick
  • 2 cups water mixed with 2 heaping tsp chicken bouillon
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 3 garlic cloves, peeled, left whole
  • dry thyme
  • dry rosemary
  • sea salt and cracked pepper
  1. Put the potatoes with the bouillon water in a pot and bring to a boil. Simmer 11 minutes.
  2. Drain and return to the pot. 
  3. On low heat add the butter and garlic.
  4. Sprinkle in the remaining ingredients.  Stir well.
  5. Saute 4 minutes.
  6. Serve.
