Garlic lemon Kale

  • 1 bunch kale, cleaned well, stems removed, chopped roughly
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 6 garlic cloves, sliced
  • cracked pepper
  • kosher salt
  • the juice of half a lemon
  1. Boil the kale in salted water for 5 minutes.  Drain.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet and saute the garlic until tender.  Remove the garlic from the pan and set it aside.
  3. Add the kale to the pan and saute for 5 minutes.
  4. Season with the pepper and salt.
  5. Squeeze in the lemon juice
  6. Return the garlic to the pan.  Serve.
