Double Chocolate Cookies
- 1 cup sugar
- 2/3 cup softened butter
- 1 egg
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup pecans
- 1 tsp vanilla
- Preheat the oven to 350 F.
- Cream the sugar with the butter and then beat in the egg and vanilla.
- Stir in the flour, cocoa, and baking soda.
- Mix in the chocolate chips and nuts.
- Drop onto baking sheets. Bake around 10 to 15 minutes depending on the size of the cookies.
Very good. They are very rich tasting so don’t make them too big.
