Mulled Apple Cider

1 qt apple juice 1 tsp allspice 8 whole cloves 1 stick cinnamon a few grains of salt 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed Pour the juice into a large saucepan. Stir in the spices, salt and sugar. Cover and heat very slowly to the boiling point for about half an hour. Remove the heat, strain and serve.
